What would you do if a bride wanted to be photographed for her wedding day but has absolutely no eyesight?
This is the challenge faced by James Day had to answer and over the next 12 months ponder this idea. “What can I do that will help take them back to one of the most incredible moments of their life?”
In his words “I stripped back what I did to the core. I reminded myself that ultimately, it’s my job to remind people of the love that exists in their life, sometimes that happens by handing someone a photograph and sometimes it happens in another way entirely.”
This is a story of an incredible man “aka James Day” going absolutely above and beyond to create a one of a kind wedding album that transports his pride back to their wedding day using all the senses of touch, textures, unique smells, with sounds and audio, etc.
Throughout the interview, James emphasizes the significance of being more than just a photographer, focusing on the tangible legacy he creates for his clients through albums and other finished products. It is so much more than just a “link and invoice”
This is a MUST listen to for all photographers. I’ve said it more than a few times lately with our guest on PPBN.TV “We are more than just Photographers!”
