An ICE Pack (In Case of Emergency) is a document with all of the essential information and details including business contact listings, asset register and process and procedure instructions of your entire business.
If something were ever to happen to you, as in your fall sick, or major accident, you are uncontactable for some reason, you can’t look after your business anymore, etc.
This ICE pack would be available to be used to take control and take over your business at the time that you can’t look after yourself for an extreme reason. Eg: injury, accidents, Etc.
The idea is to give this information to 2 of your most interested Photography friends who agree to look after your business in the case of an extreme emergency.
They will do EVERYTHING in their power to look after your past, current and future clients in the most ethical way. To make decisions for the good of everyone involved.
It’s not very often but I have seen over the past 20 years several times when other supportive photographers have to step in to help those in need and I’m not just talking about the photographer… I’m talking about looking after the clients who have been left high and dry by photographers and business owners making not so wise choices.
