Google Yourself. Look yourself up on social media.
Who even are you???
It’s Time to Clean Up & Consistify Your Online Presence
Let’s be honest — when was the last time you Googled yourself? Or looked at your social media bios with fresh eyes?
Today’s challenge is a little different… we’re going to become your own potential client.
Why? Because your online presence is often the first impression someone has of you — and if it’s outdated, inconsistent, or confusing, you could be losing leads without even knowing it.
ACTION STEP:
Let’s see What Shows Up When You Search?
Open an incognito browser tab (so your personal search history doesn’t skew the results)
You can do a few searches but in the first case Type in your full name…
What do you find?
- Is it actually you?
- Are your details up-to-date?
- Is your brand vibe consistent across platforms?
- Are your bios clear about who you help and what you do?
- Do the links work?
- Is your headshot current and consistent?
Your Digital Business Card Checklist
You want every online touchpoint to feel like you — whether someone finds you on Google, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok or LinkedIn.
Bio/Description
- Is it clear who you help and what you offer?
- Does it include your location?
- Is your tone on-brand (warm, professional, playful, etc.)?
Profile Image
- Same headshot across all platforms? (or at least the same vibe?)
- Is it high quality and current?
Links
- Are they working?
- Do they go where you want people to go? (Website, booking form, lead magnet, etc.)
Brand Consistency
- Fonts, colours, logos, tone of voice — is it cohesive?
- Does it feel like the same person/business across all channels?
Contact Info
- Phone numbers, email addresses, Google Business profile — is everything up to date?
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Google yourself and your business name (in incognito mode)
- Visit all your active social platforms and run through the checklist above
- Update at least three things today — it could be your IG bio, profile photo, etc.
- Here’s a fun one — who else in the world shares your name? (Post the best/funniest doppelgängers in the group!)
Because when your digital footprint reflects your brand accurately, you build trust faster — and people are more likely to click, follow, and book.
Let’s make sure that everywhere you show up online — you’re showing up with clarity and confidence.
Once you complete today’s task, simply comment “Done” to stay accountable.
