Let me share with you a story that’s straight out of a Disney movie – a tale filled with nostalgia, magic, and a little bit of pixie dust. My parents sold our family home in 1998, to a lovely lady. Fast forward to 2022, and I discovered that she was now looking to sell. It was like fate was calling out to me, and I knew I had to make it mine again.

But that’s not where the story ends! You see, the property had a very special feature – my Dad had built a magical studio in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I remembered playing in the shell of the studio as a child and dreaming of all the amazing things that could be created within those walls. Now, as an adult artist, I knew it would be the perfect place for me to create my own magic.

My family always referred to the studio as “the studio” since it was originally intended for my Mum’s creative hobbies. My Mum even learned the art of leadlight just so she could decorate it! It’s like the studio was always meant to be a part of our story, just waiting for us to come back and pick up where we left off.

My Dad and I teamed up to make some slight renovations. It’s amazing to think that we still have most of the original work we did on the house, including a beautiful pond outside that my Dad also built. It’s like the magic of the past is still alive and well, waiting for us to return and make new memories.
