Photography Business Events

The 2023 industry night was amazing! It was awesome being able to meet photographers face-to-face after the long lockdown. Keynote speakers were full of valuable industry knowledge and tips, it was lovely to meet the industry suppliers, getting the touch and feel of their products plus special discounts for attendees. The food and atmosphere were fantastic, great draws and prices too! I loved every part of it and look forward to attending one this year, thanks Mark for putting this together!

Don’t hesitate to get involved with the PPBN. No matter if you have been around for 5 minutes or 5 decades, there are benefits for photographers at all levels of the business and journey. There is so much information to learn, and importantly a comradery and friendship that makes you feel supported as a photographer, especially if you run your business solo.

Business can feel incredibly lonely, especially working in regional areas, but the industry night is a fantastic opportunity to meet others at all different stages of business and interests.

We have some of our favourite sponsors from the Australian photographic industry coming to the Industry Night. This is a great opportunity to meet them face to face, touch and feel their products – much better than over the internet or magazines.

Our Speaker

Steph Hill

Stephanie Hill, Total Capture Photography

In this inspiring keynote, Steph will share the secrets behind her transformation from a busy photographer to a thriving entrepreneur.

Steph Hill, the founder of Total Capture Photography, has 19 years of experience building a photography business that supports both her lifestyle and financial success.

Steph made one pivotal decision early on—to embrace outsourcing and automations—which allowed her to double her income, cut her workdays to just 2 days a week, and still be there for her family. She now focuses on what she loves most: capturing stunning images and designing beautiful artwork.

Her “clients are made, not found” philosophy has been key to attracting top-tier clients who value quality over quantity. During this session, she will reveal the systems and workflows that have allowed her to build a profitable business tailored to her personal life.

Steph’s keynote is packed with actionable tips that will help you work smarter, not harder, and achieve both business and lifestyle success.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the photography industry’s most inspiring entrepreneurs.

WORKSHOP:
"THE PROFITABLE PHOTOGRAPHER"

Master Mindset, Systems, Marketing & AI for Photography Business Growth

This intensive 4-hour Masterclass is strategically designed to transform Portrait Photographers at every stage of their business journey into empowered, profitable business owners.

Whether you’re transitioning from part-time to full-time or looking to scale an already established Photography Studio, this workshop delivers the exact systems, automation strategies and marketing approaches that are generating real results in today’s competitive and oversaturated landscape.

Unlike typical photography business workshops that focus on theory or outdated tactics, this hands-on experience prioritises implementation. You’ll not only learn about essential business systems but actually set them up during the session.

You’ll walk away with customised workflows, marketing plans, and automation tools already configured and ready to generate results.

This workshop addresses the unique challenges portrait photographers face: inconsistent bookings, inefficient workflows, pricing confusion, and difficulty standing out in a crowded market. By focusing on four critical areas—mindset, systems, marketing, and AI—we provide a comprehensive framework that eliminates overwhelm and replaces it with clarity and strategic direction.

Led by industry expert Mark Rossetto, who brings decades of experience in photography business development, this workshop transforms complex business concepts into straightforward, actionable steps specifically tailored for photographers.

Workshop Promise

By the end of these 4 hours, you’ll have a customised action plan to implement revenue-generating systems, time-saving automations, and client-attracting marketing strategies specifically tailored for portrait photographers ready to elevate their businesses.

MODULE 1: The Business Owner Mindset

MODULE 2: Systems That Sell

MODULE 3: Marketing That Works NOW
